Computer Specifications

In order to be considered as a Ninja, you will be required to share your computer specifications during the onboarding process. Certain devices will not be able to function properly on the Bite Ninja platform, so this is critical. 


This article details where to find your device specifications and what the minimum requirements are. We ask that you share your device's specs during the onboarding process by sending a screenshot to "HQ" using the chat function in the app. If you do not have access to the chat labeled "HQ," please submit a support ticket.



Operating System & Device Requirements


 If your computer is more than 4 years old, you may need to upgrade.

Find Your Computer Specs on Windows


Step 1: Click the Start button:




Step 2: Select Settings:


  



Step 3: Open the Settings app on your PC. Select System from the list of options:




Step 4: Click on About. It may be the last option at the bottom:



This will display a list of device specifications and operating system information. Take a screenshot, as this is what you will need to submit in the app to confirm that your equipment meets the requirements.

Make sure your screenshot includes all of the required information.



Find your Computer Specs on Mac


Step 1: To check the basic details like the processor type and RAM amount, first, click the “Apple” Icon in the top-left corner of your screen:




Step 2: You will see a drop down menu appear. Click About This Mac. Once you click it, a pop-up window will open with several tabs at the top.


  



Step 3: Click on the tab titled Overview. There you will be able to check some of the basic specs for your Mac, including your processor (CPU) and memory (RAM). If you are running OS Monterey or later, click the More Info button for the rest of the specs. 




Step 4: Take a screenshot. This is what you will need to submit in the app to confirm that your equipment meets the requirements.




“I am not sure if my computer meets the requirements by looking at the device specifications. What happens if it doesn’t?”


  • We will let you know if your device does not meet requirements. We are unable to accept anyone whose device or operating system does not meet minimum requirements, as you will not be able to operate effectively on the Bite Ninja Platform. We are a tech-based company and need to ensure that our clients receive the top-notch service that we promise them.



“Can I be reconsidered for work if I get a new, updated computer?”


  • Yes, if you had previously been denied but have since upgraded to a computer or operating system that meets Bite Ninja requirements, you can be reconsidered. We may still have your information, depending on the length of time since your application was submitted. If you still have a Bite Ninja account, you can message us in the HQ chat to check your status. If you do not have an active account, you can resubmit your information and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 


Where can I find out more details about my computer specifications?

  • Launch the Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar (the bar at the bottom of your screen). Select “Task Manager,” then click on the "Performance" tab. Here you can view more details about your computer’s CPU and memory usage. However, you only need to take a screenshot of the device and operating systems, as shown above.
