Cancel a Shift Bid

Step 1: Click Bid On in the navigational menu to the left of your screen. This will allow you to view all of your active shift bids:

Step 2: Select the date of the shift. You may have to use the date range filter if the shift is more than 1 week away:

Step 3: Find the correct shift. The status of the shift should say “BID ON,” and there will be a red button that says “Cancel Bid” in the top right corner. Click on that button:

Step 4: A separate window will pop up with a form for you to fill out. You must select the reason for the bid cancellation from a drop down menu, and then further describe the reason if needed. The “Upload Image” field is also there if needed, but is not required:

Step 5: Click SUBMIT. You should see a green pop-up confirmation that says “Shift bid canceled successfully.” The shift may not disappear from your bids until you refresh the page.

If you have no other shift bids on that date, you should see this when you refresh:

“Will canceling shift bids affect my rating?”

• No, canceling a bid before the shift is assigned to you will not impact your rating.

“Do I have to put in a reason if I accidentally bid on the wrong shift or cancel right away?”

• In order to successfully cancel a bid, you will need to select a reason from the drop down menu. Only the first “Select a Reason” field, the one with the red star, is required. You can, however, select “Other” if none of the listed reasons apply.
  
• “Describe the Reason” and “Upload Image” are not required.

If you are unable to submit the request to cancel your bid...

• Check to make sure you selected one of the options in the “Select a Reason” drop-down menu. If you are still unable to submit your request, you can try to do a hard refresh of your page by pressing and holding CTRL+SHIFT+R or CTRL+F5.
